Meet Our Board of Directors

  • Founder/President

    Dr. Raabe began working in his family practice in 1998. He transitioned to the Chief Clinician and President of Raabe Family Dentistry in 2002. He received his DDS in 1990 from the University of Colorado and received his B.S. in Perceptual Physiology from the University of Michigan in 1984. He has completed many additional hours of training in aesthetic dentistry, implants, craniofacial pain and obstructive sleep apnea treatments.

    Dr. Raabe is active in giving back to the community by volunteering his skills:

    -Founder of The Raabe Family Dentistry Charitable Foundation

    -Co-Founder of The Generations Clinic University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine

    -Founder of The Smile Again Program(formerly known as The Domestic Violence Dental Project)

    -Volunteer Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry at University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine

    -Volunteer dentist for Global Dental Relief

    -Volunteer dentist at the Inner-city Health Clinic, Denver 1999-2006

    -Volunteer for the Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped 1989-present

  • Vice President

    Dr. Cori Morris graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine with distinction to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. She enjoys volunteering her services on humanitarian trips, at the Worthmore clinic for refugees, and annually at COMOM (Colorado Mission of Mercy) as well as Raabe Family Dentistry Foundation.

    Dr. Cori and her husband Chris have two teenage sons and twin daughters. They love living in Colorado and enjoy hiking, biking, camping, and exploring the vibrant city of Denver.

  • Secretary

    Joel D. Russman is a retired attorney, who specialized in closely-held businesses, real estate law and marijuana law. As a twenty-year member of the Denver Cherry Creek Rotary Club, he has participated in numerous domestic and international service projects, including several trips to Honduras as part of the Club’s annual Dental Mission.

    Retirement has allowed Joel to spend more time giving back to the community, in addition to keeping his body and mind active by biking, skiing, reading and playing duplicate bridge. Recent projects include organizing and running a dry foods warehouse/repackaging facility for Metro Caring and serving on the Board of the Raabe Family Dentistry Charitable Foundation.

  • Treasurer

    Kara Zaritsky has worked in dentistry as the Practice Manager for Raabe Family Dentistry since 2012. She has participated as board member/volunteer for organizations such as Boys & Girls Club, The Ronald McDonald House and multiple aids related organizations including the Greater Community Aids Project of East Central Illinois.

    When not working and/or volunteering, Kara enjoys all that Colorado has to offer: snowboarding, hiking in the mountains, gardening and rooting for the Denver Broncos.

  • Director of Fundraising

    Stephen Brett is a retired attorney who participates in numerous volunteer service organizations including Raabe Family Dentistry Foundation and is co-founder of The Brett Family Foundation.
